Perodua Aruz Cockroach Infestation: Why Early Treatment Matters

Seeing one or two cockroaches inside your car may look like a small problem. But when they keep appearing, there may already be more hiding in areas that normal car cleaning cannot reach.
This Perodua Aruz came to Jupiter Car Detailing in Kuala Lumpur with a serious cockroach infestation.
During this treatment, we opened the interior to access hidden areas underneath and around the interior components. After the pest control stage, we found many dead cockroaches inside these areas before starting the final cleaning and reinstallation.

Why You Should Treat Cockroaches in a Car Early
Cockroaches can hide underneath carpets, around seat rails, behind interior panels and inside other dark areas of a vehicle.
This is why a car may look clean on the surface while cockroaches continue hiding deeper inside.
If you repeatedly see cockroaches in your car, especially small cockroaches appearing in different areas, it is better to deal with the problem early before the infestation becomes more serious.
Can Normal Car Cleaning Solve the Problem?
Vacuuming and normal interior cleaning can remove food crumbs and visible dirt, but they may not be enough once cockroaches have moved into hidden areas.
In more serious cases, proper access to the affected areas may be required before pest treatment and deep cleaning can be carried out effectively.
This Perodua Aruz is a real example. The large number of dead cockroaches shown in our video was found only after the treatment reached areas that are normally hidden during everyday use.
What If the Cockroach Problem Is Already Serious?
A serious infestation can still be treated.
Depending on what we find inside the vehicle, the process may include accessing hidden interior areas, pest control treatment, removal of dead cockroaches and debris, deep cleaning, drying where required, and final inspection before the interior is installed back.
If you notice cockroaches inside your car, it is better to treat the problem before it reaches this stage.
